Shelly Heron

Shelley Heron and her family moved to Boyds in 2013. Shelley has spent over 30 years working in various foreign environmental management and planning roles for government agencies, global consulting groups and non-profit organizations. During that time, Shelley has specialized in waterways, wetlands and catchments. Shelley has also been the Environmental Representative for several international infrastructure projects, managing environmental impact assessment teams, planning approvals and community consultation.  Since moving to Maryland, Shelley has been an active member of the Advisory Board for the King Barn Dairy MOOseum.  Following a passion for cooking and a love of locally grown food, Shelley recently established Foodies Farms and Friends LLC, a cooking and catering business that highlights fresh food produced in the Ag Reserve.
