Danny Huntington, Board Member

Danny, his wife Sharon Crane, their two golden-doodles, and a cat who wandered into their lives, live near the entrance to Sugarloaf Mountain in Dickerson.  They are both partners in an Intellectual Property firm in Washington, D.C. where they focus on patents.  They are members of international IP organization with over 5000 IP attorneys in 90 countries; Danny was the president of the organization from 2006 to 2009.  Danny grew up on a farm in southern Indiana where his family raised animals and crops.  He has lived in the Washington, D.C. area for most of the last 50 years.  Danny and Sharon moved to Dickerson from Potomac in 2018.  They share six children—four from Danny’s first marriage, one from Sharon’s, and one together.  They have seven grandchildren.  Danny is an avid reader, bicyclist, and hiker.
