Chris Williams, Board Member

Chris is a lifelong resident of the Agricultural Reserve. She grew up on a dairy farm in Dawsonville, MD, which later became a cattle, crop, and hog operation. Chris and her husband Howard have since sold the farm and now live close to Poolesville. They have twin daughters who live in Florida. After 34 years working as the accounting manager for the National Electrical Benefit Fund, she has recently retired and stays active as a board member of the MOOseum in Germantown and for the Friends of the Agricultural Historical Farm Park in Derwood. Chris is a member of the AARP Strike Force, a National Capitol senior advocacy group. She is also a member of the Monocacy Garden Club and Questers. In her spare time, Chris enjoys water aerobics, hiking, gardening. She also volunteers as a side walker at Great and Small, a local therapeutic riding program.
