Beth Daly

Beth and her family moved to the Ag Reserve 25 years ago—in 2000. Her sons dove right into rural life attending Monocacy Elementary School and participated in 4H. When they grew into young men, Beth shifted her time from the PTA and tending to steers and lambs to re-entering the professional workforce in the political advertising space. Over the years, Beth has served on multiple committees and boards focusing on issues important to her: Conservation (Conservation Montgomery, SCA), Equestrian (Potomac Hunt, EPIC), and Up-county citizen boards (UCAB). Frustrated with the lack of Up-County and Ag Reserve voices, Beth ran for an At-Large seat on Montgomery County Council in 2014. Beth served as SCA’s President in 2015-16 and is excited to rejoin the board as it works towards its mission of protection of the gem of Montgomery County: its Agricultural Reserve.
